During this remodel the drive-under garage was eliminated and a breezeway with a full two bay garage was created. This configuration will not allow cold air into the home when the garage doors are opened during the winter months. The existing log home has a live-edge profile so to duplicate it on the garage/breezeway would have been costly so the clients opted for the live-edge Adirondack siding.
